Terms of Service

Effective October 27, 2026

The agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Hunter Wignall, doing business as Synqframe (“Synqframe”, “we”, “us”), for your use of synqfra.me, the Synqframe OBS plugin and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account, requesting access or using the Service, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.

Who can use Synqframe

You must be at least 13, and old enough to use the platforms you stream to under their own rules. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you. If you use Synqframe for an organization, you agree on its behalf.

Private access

Synqframe is in private access. We review access requests by hand and may approve or decline any of them. An approved request reserves the username you asked for, for your email address; it does not create an account by itself. Features may change, appear or go away while the Service is in development.

Your account

  • Give accurate information and keep your password and stream keys secret. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
  • Your username is public. Don’t pick one that impersonates someone, infringes a trademark or is offensive; we may reclaim usernames that do.
  • Tell us at legal@synqfra.me if you think your account has been used without your permission.

Your content

You keep the rights to what you stream, upload and create (“your content”). To run the Service you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, process, analyze, compose, encode, record and transmit your content, only as needed to provide the Service to you and the people you share shows with, and to send it to the channels you choose. The license ends when your content is deleted, except for copies others already received from you, such as a team’s show recordings.

You are responsible for having the rights to your content, including any game footage, music, images or other people’s voices and likenesses it contains, and for following the rules of the games and platforms involved.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Synqframe to:

  • break the law, or stream or upload content you have no right to;
  • harass, threaten or exploit anyone, or share anything that sexualizes minors;
  • break the rules of the platforms you stream to;
  • send malware, attack or overload the Service, or get around its limits, billing or security;
  • access another person’s account, show or data without permission;
  • resell the Service without our written permission.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules, and we will tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.

Other platforms

Synqframe connects to platforms such as Twitch, YouTube and Kick. Your use of each is governed by its own terms, and we are not responsible for what those platforms do. By connecting a YouTube channel you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service.

Plans and billing

  • Paid plans are sold through Link, Stripe’s checkout, which is the merchant of record for your payments: it charges your card, adds and pays the sales tax or VAT where you live, and sends your receipts. Plans are billed in advance and renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
  • Usage beyond your plan’s allowance (such as relayed data, composed hours and storage) is billed at the rates shown on the Pricing page when it is used.
  • Prices do not include taxes, which are added at checkout where they apply.
  • We will tell you at least 30 days before a price change affects your plan.
  • Payments are not refundable, except where the law requires a refund.
  • If a payment fails or is disputed, we may pause paid features until it is resolved.

Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time in Settings › You (Delete account). We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if your payments fail, or if we stop offering the Service; when we can, we will give you notice and a chance to download your recordings first.

Disclaimers

Live streaming depends on networks, platforms and equipment outside our control. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that a stream, recording or automated decision (such as which view a show is on) will be complete or correct.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Synqframe is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, audience or data. Our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US $100. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Indemnity

If someone makes a claim against us because of your content or your breach of these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of that claim, including legal fees.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute about them or the Service will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Broome County, New York, and you and we agree to those courts’ jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not take away protections the law where you live gives you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new date and, for material changes, tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before they take effect. Using the Service after that means you accept them.
